And The Light Shineth In Darkness
“And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” John 1:5
The darkness cannot grasp the light, the originator of love and mercy and our very salvation; in the darkness there is no hope, no faith, no discernment of God’s goodness.
Father, pierce every soul. Rush in with the fullness of your loving, healing, Light of the World, Jesus.
Cause thy face to shine, O Lord! (Psalms 80:19)
May your light shine in the darkness, overcoming hardness of hearts, overcoming disbelief and scorn, overcoming self and sin. May your grace and mercy abound.
All is well. Alleluia!
