And The Dead In Christ Will Rise First

“For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the archangel’s call, and with the sound of the trump of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first:” 1 Thessalonians 4:16

The heavens shall give way to Christ; he shall come again in glory with a shout!

We long for this holy moment as we face the mountains and valleys of our lives here on earth. We our homesick and look to the day of the kingdom.

Yet, let us remember to do the work our Father has sent us to do. Be ever vigilant that the evil one roams.

Love one another in Christ Jesus. Lift one another in Christ. Bear one another in Christ.

May we finish the race with God’s grace. mercy and strength.
