They Crucified Him And Two Others

“Then he handed him over to them to be crucified. So they took Jesus, and he went out, bearing his cross, to the place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha. There they crucified him, and with two others, on either side one, and Jesus between them.” John 19:16-18

Our Lord and Savior was tortured, beaten, mocked, falsely accused, cursed, tormented, and left to hang, nailed to a tree, in excruciating pain.

For you. For me. For every sin. For every sinner.

“When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” John 19:30

In that horrible, beautiful, unfathomable moment, he freed us with his grace. By the blood of Jesus we are saved.
