There Is Therefore Now No Condemnation
“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” Romans 8:1
Jesus condemned sin in the flesh.
Jesus bore mankind’s sin on the tree. He freely walked towards his earthly death, through his bodily scourging, through his physical torture, for you, for me.
He died, nailed to the cross, and rose on the third day victorious over sin.
The righteousness of the law, walking after the Spirit, not after the flesh, or the evil of this world, is fulfilled in each of us.
Through Jesus, we no longer retain our burden of the flesh.
Christ Jesus has made us free.
We are free from the bondage, the eternal death, of sin, but “have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba Father.” Romans 8:15
Go forth this day forgiving one another, forgiving yourself, as we are no longer condemned through the blood of Jesus.
We are glorified together with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen.
All is well. Alleluia!
