The LORD My God Lightens My Darkness

“Yes, you light my lamp; the LORD my God lightens my darkness.” Psalm 18:28

There is nothing to fear, as God is here, illuminating the darkness with his light.

Father, when we stumble into the dark corners of this fallen world, when we doubt your deliverance, may we be reminded that you gave the Light of the World to us, for us.

The shadows have no strength against you; you have won every battle, and gone before us in every way.

Our candles are ablaze; God is here.

Rejoice evermore!
