Jesus Said To His Disciples
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Which one of you would hand his son a stone when he asked for a loaf of bread, or a snake when he asked for a fish? If you then, who are wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good things to those who ask him.
Do to others whatever you would have them do to you. This is the law and the prophets.” Matthew 7:7-12
How we love our children, to the moon and back!, yet God loves them infinitely deeper and wider than we can comprehend. Our love is but a drop from the abundant and ever present well of God’s living water.
Let us remember that when we pray, we we cry out to our Creator in our grief, our sorrow, our dire need, that he is near, that he himself is moving for our good and the good of all his church. He hears us. He desires us to pray unceasingly. He moves in his holy will to give us and our children his good gifts.
Let us also remember to pray for one another’s needs, to do unto others as we would like them to do to us, as the power of the Holy Spirit is within and ready to move in the fullness of faith.
God the Father and Son and Holy Spirit be with you. Alleluia!
All is well.
