Take Heed That No One Leads You Astray

And Jesus answered them, “Take heed that no one leads you astray.

For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray.” Matthew 24:4-5

Jesus counsels us that nations will rise against nations, that there will be many sorrows throughout the world, that many false prophets will arise to deceive and destroy, that our very lives may be taken, but we are to not to be troubled.

“But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” Matthew 24:13

Let us finish the good race with strength of faith and God’s merciful grace, and keep our minds, bodies, and souls, ever focused on Christ.
