From The Temple He Heard My Voice
“In my distress I called upon the LORD; to my God I cried for help. From the temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears.” Psalms 18:6
Consider the leaders of this world: the kings, the queens, the presidents, the rulers over nations. Who among you can call upon any of them, crying out in your need, and be heard this very moment?
Not one of us.
Yet, our Father, who rules over every living thing, hears us in every moment, whether we cry out in anguish or lift our voices to him in joy.
“…my cry came before him, even unto his ears.” It is an overwhelming gift, that as sons and daughters of The King, we may call upon him and our cry comes before him, even unto his ears.
Call on God in the day of trouble. He hears his children.
Lord, our God, we praise you for your mercy. We thank you for your goodness.
May we share God’s love with all we meet.
All is well. Alleluia!
