Behold, We Call Those Happy Who Were Steadfast

“Behold, we call those happy who were steadfast. You have heard of the steadfastness of Job, and you have seen the purpose of the Lord, how the Lord is compassionate and and merciful.” James 5:11

If we are afflicted – let us pray.

If we are filled with joy – let us sing psalms.

If we are sick – let us be prayed over and anointed with oil by the elders of the church in the name of the Lord (James 5: 13-14).

God has pity on us and bathes us in his tender mercy. He sees us, hears us, and answers us in the fullness of his time.

Let us endure in full faith that our Father is ever present. Let us not only praise him in our joy, but praise him in our tribulation.
