I Was Ready To Be Sought By Those Who Did Not Ask For Me
“I was ready to be sought by those who did not ask for me; I was ready to be found by those who did not seek me. I said, ‘Here I am, here I am,’ to a nation that did not call on my name, I spread out my hands all the day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, following their own devices;” Isaiah 65: 1-2
God calls after all. He seeks us in his full mercy.
May the hunger we face for meaning, understanding, love and acceptance, be recognized as our longing to be filled by God, for him to find us where we stand and fill our emptiness.
He spreads his hand before us. Reach to him in humility and repentance, and the void, the hole within that only he can heal, shall be filled with the very indwelling of God’s Holy Spirit.
Fear not; you will never be without the truth of his mighty goodness again.
All is well. Alleluia!
