Let Your Face Shine On Your Servant

“But I trust in you, O LORD, I say, ‘You are my God.’ My times are in your hand; deliver me from the hand of my enemies and persecutors!

Let your face shine on your servant; save me in your merciful love!

Let me not be put to shame, O LORD, for I call on you; let the wicked be put to shame, let them go dumfounded to Sheol.” Psalms 31:14-17

Lord, we trust in your holy word, in your merciful love. May your face shine upon us and may we in turn shine your love to others, especially those who seek to harm, those who refuse you, those lost in the wilderness of wickedness.

We call on you, O LORD! Here our prayer!
