So That The Genuineness Of Your Faith, More Precious Than Gold

“So that the genuineness of your faith, more precious than gold that is perishable even though tested by fire, may prove to be for praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 1:7

We pray to say at the end of our earthly lives: I have fought the good fight, as we understand that our faith in Christ will be tried by fire.

Evil never rests for the destruction of our souls.

Yet, Jesus.

Jesus forgives. Jesus conquers. Jesus saves.

May our faith in Christ Jesus be our most valued possession, more precious to us than gold. Though we will be tried by fire – praise, honor, and glory awaits.
