I Have Called You Friends

“I no longer call you slaves, because a slave does not know what his master is doing. I have called you friends, because I have told you everything I have heard from my Father.” John 15:15

What a glory! What a merciful grace! Jesus shares all he knows of the Father with us, as trusted, loved, friends.

We are united in and through Christ. We are his beloved as he is ours.

Jesus willingly laid down his life for us; there is no greater love for man than this (John 15:13).

There is no higher gift.

Jesus, we thank you! We praise your holy name! Amen.
