Love The Lord With Your All And Your Neighbor As Yourself

When Jesus was asked how we can inherit eternal life, he in turn asked, “What is written in the law? How do you read it?”

The lawyer tempting Jesus replied, “And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.” Luke 10:27

Jesus said: Do this and live.

Love God with all you have within you. Treat your neighbor with the love that you wish to receive.

Do this and live.

Simplicity of love: consider God’s infinite love for you (fully unimaginable in its scope) and offer the love that is fully in you to others, as we are all neighbors in Christ.

Do this and live. Amen.
