For His Anger Endureth But For A Moment
And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved. Psalms 30:5-6
When we are in the place of peace, calm, and fullness, we falsely believe the strength of our faith, the fiery steel of our will, can not be moved.
Yet, we aren’t so completely foolish to know this as truth.
Our imperfect bodies are fragile and prone to fail us, which agitates our soul. Our improperly influenced minds must be constantly corrected in thoughts of fear, anxiety, and hopelessness. Our spirit, stealthily removed from the Holy by the world’s constant and interfering evil, tumbles into turmoil and trouble.
Do not fear!
God seeks to perfect his beloved and we are thankful his anger remains but for a moment; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Amen!
All is well. Alleluia!
