But I Trusted In Thee, O LORD: I Said Thou Art My God
The enemy wants us weak. It would be so easy to give in to the weakness, to the sadness, to the depth of pain that we feel on a daily basis.
“But I trusted in thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my God.” Psalms 31:14
Is your belief weakened?
Are your enemies closing in?
Does your spirit fail you?
Stand with God and trust anyway. God is here, no matter the chatter of evil to the contrary.
Let the words, God’s holy word ring out: Thou art my God!
We may not have eyes to see, or ears to hear, for a way out of our present circumstance, but we do have a heart that intuitively cries out in our greatest need; trust your instinct to reach for God.
Loving Jesus, we rebuke the enemy in all ways, for all days, in your holy name, a name so fearsome evil must flee upon hearing it. Help us to look directly to you when we feel our spirit softening to satan’s pull.
We claim YOU, Lord! YOU are our God. There is no other before you; there is no other after you.
I pray we stand in trust, in blind faith, in our time of weakness, believing the mighty love of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit against all odds of this fallen world.
LORD, we are united in this prayer together, in the holy name of Jesus.
All is well. Alleluia!
