For What Shall It Profit A Man?

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Mark 8:36

Is there anything, one thing, that we would exchange for our soul?

Not one thing.

The world’s riches and abundance are nothing compared to what we gain from eternal life.

We lose our life here in this present place for Jesus and the gospel, in exchange for saving our soul as we take up our cross to follow Jesus where he leads.

His glory is forever; our glory is in our heirship. Amen!
