Pray Without Ceasing
“Pray without ceasing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17
The moment we accept Christ as our Savior, we are no longer in flesh, but in the Spirit (Romans 8:9): the Spirit of God dwells within us.
Once we recognize the Spirit of God is indwelling, we offer everything to him. We take everything to him. We pray without ceasing.
When we pray, we align our earthly bodies, in the Spirit, to God’s will.
A sigh in the moment of annoyance or anger, a glance to heaven for immediate guidance, the very spoken name of Jesus!, the quiet of our soul when words fail, songs of thanksgiving and praise, are prayers heard.
As we pray without ceasing, our understanding and wisdom expands. We come to ask in faith, nothing wavering (James 1:6) and know the word of God is truth.
God Almighty, the great I AM, the Lion of Judah, is for us. No one can stand against us.
Pray without ceasing.
All is well. Alleluia!
