I Came Not To Send Peace, But A Sword
“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.” Matthew 10:34
Jesus fights for our souls; he fights for our eternal lives.
Evil is cruel and ever testing our resolve to stay in the light of our Savior. Evil seeks to keep us in the shadow of death.
Yet, the sword of Jesus is mighty and able to save.
The saving of souls means conversion from sin – wrestling a soul from Satan is never peaceful: it is full-on war.
Lord, we thank you for your devotion to us. We join you in your holy fight for those who remain in the shadow of death. We war on in your name, for ourselves and others, until you call us home.
We are all one in Christ Jesus.
Onward!
All is well. Alleluia!
