And When You Stand Praying, Forgive
“And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.” Mark 11:25
If we hold on to hurt, to the pain inflicted by others, if we refuse to forgive, then God’s word is clear: our sin will not be forgiven (Mark 11:26).
Just as we sin, as we hurt others, as we inflict pain to our fellow man, then pray in remorseful sorrow to be forgiven, so must we forgive.
May we ever pray for forgiveness, for what we have done and for what others have done to us.
Our Father is faithful; his word is clear: to be forgiven, forgive. Amen.
All is well. Alleluia!
