My Prayer Returned
“But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.” Psalms 35:13
Psalms 10-16 speaks to praying for those who mock us, who plot evil against us, as we mourn their actions.
A brother, a sister, those closest to our hearts, gathered against us, yet we pray on for their needs.
We are called to this purpose – to pray for the hard, for the hurt, for the unexplained. We are called to love as we want to be loved, as God himself loves us.
Humble your soul. Pray for those who betray you, who mock you, who plot evil against you.
Humble your soul. Pray. Have faith. The results belong to God. Amen.
All is well. Alleluia!
