The Spirit of the Lord God

“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;” Isaiah 61:1

The power of sharing God, of the Gospel, is life-affirming, life-changing.

You cannot mention the name of Jesus without being touched by his redemptive love.

You cannot mention the name of the great I Am without the awe of his glory upon you.

The Spirit of the Lord God changes everything; this world falls away, and the anticipation, the preparation, for next comes into focus for every deed.

The meek (not to be confused with the weak) are strengthened; the brokenhearted are healed; those imprisoned by unclean spirits of fear, anxiety, confusion, or doubt, are set free – the doors of salvation fly open and you are greeted by the glory of God himself.

Speak of God, of Christ, and you speak of healing.

May God, Christ, be upon your lips and rule your spirit this day and all that follow.
