2 Cor 1:3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

i dont even know how to join in with their sorrow. i am usually numb over shootings but this one arrested me. i can’t get my mind around it. i can’t understand it. my mind won’t even allow me to think how it would feel if it was my own daughter. i can’t fathom this evil. i want us to do something to stop all this crazy mayhem, all the horror in this country. i cant believe we can’t protect our children better than this.

I think those with young children have had to take measures to protect their hearts in this case, just as you are doing. It’s too great a sorrow to imagine.

This country most assuredly agrees with you; we must protect our children.

My heart is ripped asunder for all of these families. My oldest granddaughter is 5, I am so very grateful that I am only experiencing this empatheticaly. You are not the only one who can make up words :)

I do believe all your words are real words, unless I’m missing something.

Our ability to empathize is what holds us together during crisis. Every caring mother and father out there have been brought to their knees over this event. We can’t imagine the depth of their pain, but we can offer our hearts and our strength.
